Hasta la Linux
I kissed my Edgy Eft installation on the MacBook goodbye last night. Or, I really kicked it out with a vengeance – wasn’t really using it anyways. It was just sitting there eating precious disk space. I had some trouble finding a non-$ gui application that could do my dirty work for me, and I was to tired to start playing with diskutil, even though I knew that would do the trick as well.
So I got a hold of iPartition and Coriolis CDMaker so that I could make a bootable CD to start the repartitioning with. iPartition is a sweet app that in 8 clicks made me remove Linux swap, Linux ext2, and then resize my OSX partition. The actual resize took a long time, but hey – I was in bed sleeping.
Good to have another 10GB to waste on misc stuffz.

iPartition is really awesome. I used it after removing my Windows XP install from my MacBook Pro. I think Macs are only meant to run OS X. But I’m really satisfied with Ubuntu Edgy on my desktop PC.
Nice blog, btw.
