A long long way from home

Sorry Zope, but due to all the overhead with running it I decided to kick it to the curb American History X-style. Why does it have to be so that every time there’s a new zope version theres a bloody painful transition? Too much hassle for hobby use. And the Debian packages also kind of, well, sucks, so I have to compile and maintain it myself.

Then what to do? I had to get myself another system for publishing whatever crappy pieces of info I needed to put in the greatest dustbin of all times – TEH INTARNET. So, someone at an IRC channel I am idling on told me that wordpress was a very fluffy bunny – so here I am.

Yeah, I know – wordpress is using PHP and MySQL and I am not very fond of those, really. But as long as it just works I couldn’t care less.
